Beginners and first-time paddlers welcome! Come paddle with us and the gentle giants of the Sea as they take their yearly holiday at Blue Springs State Park. These half-ton mammals seek refuge from the cold in the year-round 72-degree water of the springs from November thru February each year.
We practice passive observation during our manatee tours and we make sure our guests know the federal rules protecting these amazing air-breathing sea-dwelling mammals. We use extra stable custom boards for this tour and as the manatees come close to check us out, we strongly suggest you sit down! Kids under 13 can ride on their parent or guardians’ board for free. Please make sure you add your passenger’s weight to your weight when registering for this tour.
